Pearl necklace with dyed agate, butterfly

Necklace "Butterfly in Early Summer" is crafted with beautifully crafted agate cabochons, a dragon vein agate, seed beads, glass wax beads and natural mother-of-pearl beads, as well as a large cat's eye pearl. Everything is kept in purple and pink and a little colorful, as a butterfly should look. The chain length or The neck circumference is approx. 42 cm. Genuine lambskin is sewn on the back, so that a soft, warm and comfortable feeling is created. All beads are sewn on from silver thread - this is very stable and has a long lifespan.

Due to the worldwide localities and its variety of colours and shapes, agate has many synonyms. Due to the different compositions, the different varieties of agate result, which are also said to have different healing effects. For example, it is used as a pregnancy protection stone and is said to provide comfort in the event of separations, and it can also help with diseases of all organs. The very well-known Hildegard von Bingen also recognized the importance of agate in the Middle Ages and described its positive effect against snake and spider venom. Agate is one of the most important healing stones of all.

The production of this necklace took about 6 weeks. Of course, I can't work on it every day, because I work full-time. It is a hobby and should be fun and now bring joy to others.
