Unique hand-knitted beanie made of mohair effect yarn – ready to ship!

This special hat was lovingly knitted by me by hand and is made of high-quality, second-hand vintage mohair effect yarn from the German company Hübner. The yarn impresses with its unique look and makes this hat a truly unique piece.

Material and design

• Primitive colour: Black and white
• Accents: Spun-in blue and green elements as well as small fringes (see photos).
• Composition: 13% Kid Mohair, 12% Wool, 16% Mohair, the rest synthetic fibers.

The hat was knitted in garter stitch, with the smooth side facing inwards. You can also wear the hat with the seam facing outwards. Its simple, angular shape creates charming "ears" that give the hat the name cat hat . Alternatively, it can also be styled as a classic fisherman's hat by folding down the edge or rolling up the hat - a versatile accessory for many looks!

Fit and measurements (approx.):

• Length: 20 cm
• Width: 22 cm, stretchable up to 30 cm
• Ideal for a head circumference of approx. 56 cm - fits comfortably and securely.

The hat was knitted round and has only one seam at the top. One cuff was deliberately omitted to achieve a particularly clean look. It has already been pre-washed and is therefore dimensionally stable.

Care:

• Hand wash recommended.
• Do not wring, but squeeze carefully.
• After washing, shape and let dry flat.

• I enclose enough repair wool in case small repairs should be necessary.
