Sweater made of Super Kid Mohair and Suri Alpaca, a hand-knitted unique piece

A unique, hand-knitted sweater - for all those who appreciate individuality and sustainability

Each of my pieces was handmade and made according to my own design as a unique piece. Suitable for different body shapes and genders with its loose, boxy cut, this sweater is now waiting to enrich your wardrobe ready to be shipped.

Product

Made from a premium blend of mohair and alpaca blend, this cozy sweater is ideal for cooler days. The harmonious colour combination of light blue, red, yellow and green is incorporated in irregular stripes, with one sleeve being knitted in several colours. The boxy cut with dropped shoulders and loosely cut sleeves ensures a relaxed, flexible fit that looks great both oversized and in larger sizes. The small knitted stand-up collar falls slightly downwards and forms a subtle, round shape, as can be seen in the pictures. The color transitions knotted by me with small fringes as a design element can be pulled inwards if desired.

Dimensions and fit

The sweater corresponds to a size L, but also fits other sizes due to its flexible cut. My model is 168 cm tall and wears size M/L. All measurements are measured flat and only approximate:

Body: approx. 55 cm long, 73 cm wide
Sleeves: approx. 34 cm long, 18 cm wide
Neckline: approx. 31 cm wide

Features

The mohair and alpaca blend yarns give the sweater a special softness and fluffiness, so that it lies comfortably on the skin. Over time, the material becomes even softer and looser, which can lead to slight linting. People with sensitive skin could wear a shirt underneath. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch with a needle size of 15 mm, the cuffs with a 12 mm needle, creating a stable hem.

Composition of the yarns:

64% Mohair (Kid Mohair), 12% Wool (Merino), 24% Polyamide
Yellow yarn: 73% alpaca (Suri), 17% wool (merino), 10% polyamide
The material comes from Italy and is characterized by its excellent quality.

This sweater stands for slow fashion. Handcrafted with love and care, it reflects my passion for sustainable fashion. Every detail is the result of creative handiwork, which gives the sweater its unique character. Fashion knows no gender for me – this piece is intended for everyone who values individuality and quality.

Care

For the longevity of your sweater, I recommend hand washing or the wool wash cycle. Use a mild wool detergent or a special conditioner (e.g. Unicorn) and avoid rubbing or wringing the material. Machine wash is possible at 1000 rpm. To dry, please spread out flat and also store flat to avoid deformation.

Repair

For each hand-knitted piece, I include yarn for minor repairs. If you need a professional repair, please feel free to contact me.
