Handmade unique - unisex cardigan for every wardrobe

This unique cardigan was hand-knitted by me and designed according to my own design. With its loose, boxy cut, it is versatile and gender-neutral - regardless of fit preferences and body shape. Ready to ship immediately, it is waiting to take a special place in your wardrobe.

Material and appearance

This cardigan is made of long-haired vintage mohair yarn, combined with cotton, viscose and virgin wool - completely free of synthetic fibers. The natural material offers a comfortable feel, ideal for cooler days. The colourful stripes and the all-over white yarn made of 50% mohair and virgin wool give the design a harmonious, lively touch and make it versatile.

Cut and fit

The boxy cut and the directly knitted sleeves ensure a casual, flexible fit. The cardigan fits about size L, but thanks to its wide cut, it is also suitable for M to XL. My model is 168 cm tall and wears size M.

Dimensions of the jacket (measured horizontally, in cm):

• Body: approx. 90 cm long (worn approx. 100 cm), 64 cm wide
• Sleeves: approx. 30 cm long, 25 cm wide (from neck approx. 70 cm)

Special features of the knitting technique

The cardigan was knitted in garter stitch with needle size 15 and deliberately designed without cuffs, which gives it a loose and natural shape. I have worked the color transitions overlapping, so that the visible thread ends are part of the design and underline the unique style of this garment.

Comfort and care

Please note: The material is rather rustic and can scratch easily on sensitive skin. The cardigan loses hair and is therefore best worn over other clothing. For care, I recommend hand washing or the wool wash cycle with a mild wool detergent, spinning at a maximum of 1000 rpm and dry flat. It should also be stored horizontally for storage in order to preserve its shape.

This cardigan stands for slow fashion: Every detail was carefully handcrafted, with passion and from a conscious choice of materials. The yarn used comes from second-hand sources, thus conserving resources and supporting sustainable fashion.
