The sweater is finished and ready for shipping. Of course, knitted by me according to my own design. Fluffy sweater in an intoxicating color, knitted from one of my mohair treasures.

Perfect fit and measurements

Unfortunately, my computer does not reproduce the color correctly. It is a bright dark purple overall. Below I describe the color in more detail. My model is 168 cm tall and wears an M/L size. I have indicated it here with an L, but it certainly fits other sizes depending on body shape and fit preference. If you have any questions, please write to me.

Dimensions (all measured horizontally and only approximate):

• Body: 67 cm wide, 55 cm long
• Sleeves: 28 cm wide, 22 cm long
• Neckline: 9 cm deep on one side and 18 cm on the other side

Since the sweater is knitted crosswise, the body pulls over the shoulders and the sleeves become longer. Knitwear tends to become softer and wider over time and/or through a wash, please keep that in mind.

Material and special features

I point out that this material loses hair! The yarn used is soft, but perhaps not suitable for very skin-sensitive people, as the long fibers tickle. I knitted with a needle size of 12, everything was garter. Starting with one arm over the body. The slit becomes the neckline, a small V at the back and a slightly lower one at the front, and then on to the other arm. The cut extends outwards (over the arms), creating the neckline. I knitted the cuffs with a smaller needle size to give the sweater a contour.

The sweater actually has no back and front, so it is possible to wear the large neckline at the front or back. A super fluffy dream in an intoxicating color. The yarn is two-tone mottled, long mohair fibers in red and blue. Depending on the incidence of light, the color looks more purple or purple. The hair is sometimes 4 cm long and longer.

I bought the yarn "second hand". (If you're interested: A former wool shop owner sold her stored treasures.) The wool is made of 78% mohair and 22% polyacrylic.
