Mohair sweater, hand-knitted unique piece, patent pattern, cropped, long-haired mohair, oversize
Like all the pieces I offer, this is a hand-knitted one-of-a-kind. Always in your own design.
The sweater is finished and ready for shipping.
Perfect fit and measurements
I specified the sweater with an M size, but it certainly fits other sizes, depending on body shape and fit preference. If you are unsure, please feel free to write to me.
The model is 168 cm tall and wears a size M/L. But please note the measurements, all measured horizontally and only approx. information.
Dimensions (all measured horizontally and only approximate):
- Body: 68 cm wide, 46 cm long, incl. cuffs
- Sleeves: 31 cm long, incl. cuffs, 23 cm wide
The sweater is worn a little longer. I let it hang out on the doll for two days before measuring. Please keep in mind that knitwear tends to become a little wider and softer over time and/or through a wash.
Material and special features
I explicitly mention here that the material loses hair. A super fluffy dream in an intoxicating color. The color is a rich red, maybe blood red, which doesn't go into orange like on my screen, for example. With very long fibers.
I bought the yarn "second hand", a wonderful vintage mohair. It consists of 75% mohair, 20% wool and only 5% synthetics. The pattern is a semi-patented pattern and gives a lot of volume, knitted with a needle size of 15 mm. The cuffs are knitted in a ribbed pattern with a smaller needle, making them a little tighter.
The sweater is light and mega fluffy. The fibres are warming, but also temperature-balancing. The body is boxy, with dropped shoulders, moderately wide arms and a boat neckline. The sweater has no "back and front".
The sweater is certainly an eye-catcher, eye-catching in color and material. But the cut is kept simple.
Care
To enjoy the sweater for a long time, you should always store it lying down. I'll add repair wool so that you can repair it if necessary. If you have any questions, please feel free to write to me.
An exclusive garment. Slow fashion instead of fashion fast food. Sustainable and made to be enjoyed for many years.
