Hand-knitted poncho made of vegan wool blend - Perfect for summer

A hand-knitted unique piece of your own design. This loosely knitted throw made of a vegan wool blend is made of cotton and viscose - a great summer yarn and ideal for those who want to do without animal fibers.

Versatile fit and style

My model is 168 cm tall and wears an M/L size. There is actually no fixed size for this poncho, but the narrower the shoulders, the lower the poncho slips over the shoulders. Great as a throw on the beach or to throw on quickly when it gets chilly. Suitable for all seasons.

Stylish and functional design

I knitted the throw close to the neck, so it is also great to use as a scarf. Personally, I think it's great, even styled over a jacket in a "desert look". You can also use it as a hood.

High-quality and vegan material

The cotton yarn is matt and spun in flame in a light blue, so it changes from thick to thin areas. The viscose yarn is a dark blue, has a sheen and was spun. I bought the yarn as a large batch of second hand; it is even vintage and comes from the warehouse liquidation of an Essen wool manufactory, "Naturgarne Merker".

Sustainability and care

I washed the poncho with a wool conditioner, so it is dimensionally stable. Please keep it lying down, as it would wear out unattractively on a hanger. It is easy to wash by hand: just squeeze it out and don't wring it, spin it in the washing machine to 1000 rpm and then dry it lying down, pulled into shape. I enclose enough repair wool.
